Boring…Blah…Boring…Eh…
I have started about 5 different posts so far but as I go back to read them they all look something like this…
“Boring boring blah blah blah…BORING! I am so mind numbingly boring I can’t believe you are still reading about how boring I am, Holy shit “I’m boring” Boring blah boring blah, blah -d- blah…You get the picture.
In light of the fact that the interesting and wittier portion of my brain is for some reason on hiatus, I shall spare you all the details and move this post directly on to a bullet list…because I care about your personal comfort, and cannot bare the thought of you my reader, writhing in this sea of dry, white, crust less toast that currently has control of my mind.

Item #1 - GO CANES!!!!
Item #2 - 1 week! We rock! We made it one week, I am nicotine free, and have managed to do it without killing anyone. Did you know that nicotine withdrawal can lead to a lack of ability to focus? Well, now you do.

Item #3 - I NEED THIS so bad, you have no idea…
Item #4 - Only 3 months and 1 week until school starts!
Item #5 - I am not even interesting enough to think of an item #5…
So with that said, I will leave you, and don’t forget…
Go Canes!

WOOOOOT! I can’t wait until Item #3 is available…!!! Glad to hear you’ve made it a week! It’s all downhill from here! Keep up the good work!

Oh my God, I was just at Mrs. Fortune’s website trying to think of “We built this city” cause it’s one of my all time hated songs and I couldn’t think of it. Thanks so much for reminding me and hating it as much as I do!

Erin - I think you should get item #3 with me and we can have us some “mommy blog virtual racing” action on the Nike site.

that is so great that you quit. i have the same story as you. gave up smoing when i got pregnant and started back when i found out what colic was. UGH! the stress was too much. i hate to say, but i am still smoking. like you, not in the house or around the bellabug. i keep saying i will quit and then something else happens: teething, colds, break in sleeping routine, etc. believe me, i can always think of an excuse to put off the big quit. i am so proud of you and it really is all down hill from here. the trick is not having even one cig even after the habit is long gone.

Thanks for the support. I know I kept it up this long because of all the little “stress milestones” but now that At-man is getting big enough that I have to worry about him catching me, it makes it a bit easier to stop. The fact that I really can’t have even one ever again is still a hard thought to deal with, but I know it’s true.
