I'm loving your blog! It's so cool to have another mother-of-3's (is that a term?) perspective on motherhood and life in general. I have the unique perspective of being Canadian, Black and my kids are older than yours (11, 9 & 8) but we still have a lot in common. You should write more often! I try to blog every day. Some days it kills me to sit here but I'm compelled for some stupid reason. It's been almost 2 years. So. Very. Tired. It was nice reading this. I'll be back often.

I know how that feels. I went from a C pre-kids to now a B, I lost what I had prior to kids. I went to Victoria's Secret a few weeks ago and the sales lady voluteered to measure me and let me know my "true" size, I told her, trust me, I know my "true" size.. when I told her I was a B, she asked, are you sure..that really hurt...

I think dress designers assume that all women get enhancements, because some dresses simply do not cover bra straps. I agree that the blatant honesty of the sales girls at Vic's Secret is really annoying...

Oooh, that's rough! I haven't bought a new bra (other than nursing bras) since my daughter was born 18 months ago because I'm dreading what the saleswomen will say. The "girls" have definitely shrunk!

I can soooo relate. After my third boy was born AND I was actually running and hadn't yet resigned to being fat and flabby, I, too, entered Victoria's Secret. I told the poor 19-year-old girl who got stuck with me, "I need something. I look like a prepubescent boy," but I don't think she really believed me until, after about the 10th bra she brought me, I pulled her into the dressing room so she could see the ugly truth for herself. She tried to cover the instinctive look of horror that came over her face as she silently swore off ever having kids, but I could see it. I didn't care. I had no dignity left. Truth is--I wasn't even a B! In fact, she had to dig through some hidden drawer and wipe the dust off some poor trainer-sized bra that probably never though it would see the light of day.

Now I'm 20 pounds heavier and STILL wearing that bra, although it is clearly too small for me now. But I just can't bear the thought of making the walk of shame back into VS...

Love your blog! I'm a "mom blog newbie" and will definitely link to you! Thanks for making me laugh!

Hey, it's no picnic when it goes the other way either. Me: I just had a baby, I think I'm a D...
Her: Oh no sweat heart...you're MUCH bigger than that.
Me: pokes her in the eye with my cell phone antenna.

Uhhh... Yeah I know how that feels! I am stuck between the misses section(which, I don't even know why they call it misses, it all looks OLD to me) and the juniors section. But I am about to be 30 and I have 3 yes 3 kiddos, 9,5,3. I think I still have the shape to wear juniors, I am a size 2! But when I get there and try on what looks too cute on the hanger, ugggg! My boob are too small (thanks to the 3 kids) My butt and thighs are too big! (also the 3 kids) And to make it all worse a 20 something boy at a store the other day called me Mam. I went home and cried! So I am feeling ya!
You have a great blog! It is very refreshing to read another mom's views so close to mine! Keep it up!

LMAO, that was hilarious. I loved it! I also know what bra you're talking about. LOL. Check out the other ones, that are in the same vein as the one you wore. They're good for a laugh. How do the hold anything up?
